Om is the holy syllable, Mani means jewel, Padme means lotus, hum means sense of knowledge. That is, in dependence on the practice of path which is an inseparable union of method and knowledge, you can transform your impure body, speech and mind into pure body and loud speech. It is said that whoever chants this mantra is safe from all dangers.
The five colors of this flag represent the five elements of space, air, water, fire and earth.
